One Word to Guide the Rest of Your Year

Open lined journal with red flowers resting on the page, set on a terrazzo surface beside a laptop and pen, evoking intentional reflection and mid-year goal setting for heart-centered entrepreneurs.

We’re officially halfway through the year, and if you’ve already taken time to reflect, reset, or revisit your vision— beautiful. And if you haven’t had a moment to pause and reflect yet, that’s okay too. Wherever you are right now, this season offers a perfect invitation to check in with yourself, not to overhaul everything, but to create a sense of intentionality for what comes next.

A few weeks ago, we shared a full mid-year reset process to help you realign your values and vision for the second half of the year. But sometimes, we just need something simple. Something that doesn’t require a deep dive or a journaling retreat. Just one word—a soft anchor that gently centers and supports you as you move forward.

Choosing a word for the rest of the year can be a powerful way to reconnect with how you want to feel, how you want to show up, and what you want to call in. It doesn’t need to be perfect or profound, just something that speaks to where you are and where you’re headed. When you land on the right word, it becomes a steady reminder of what matters and a guiding thread that weaves through your decisions and intentions.

Lately, I’ve been drawn to words like abundance and magnetic. Not in the shiny, performative sense, but in a more grounded, heart-led way. I’ve been thinking about what it means to be available for all the ways abundance shows up—not just in business growth, but in joy, creativity, connection, and the everyday magic that’s easy to miss. I’m approaching this season with awe and trust, noticing the richness in what’s already here while remaining open to what’s still unfolding.

If you’re choosing a word for the rest of 2025, here are a few questions that might help you find one that resonates:

  • How do you want to feel in this next season of your life or business?

  • What energy or quality would support you in moving forward with more intention?

  • Is there a theme, desire, or shift that’s been quietly pulling at you?

You might find yourself drawn to something like clarity, ease, alignment, courage, or devotion. Or maybe it’s something deeply personal—something that reminds you of your own rhythm, your own pace, your own power.

Once you’ve chosen your word, let it live with you. Write it somewhere visible. Whisper it to yourself before you begin your workday. Let it shape your decisions and your energy. Whether you share it or keep it close, let it be something that truly belongs to you.

If you already have a word in mind, I’d love to know what it is. And if yours hasn’t revealed itself yet, trust that it will in its own time. Sometimes all we need is a little stillness to hear what’s been waiting to be heard.

Here’s to whatever you’re ready to receive, and to creating space for it to arrive.

With love and light– Pamela
